Capital
Where will capital go in 2027 beyond AI?
What investors and allocators are backing, and what they are waiting on.
An invitation-only dinner
The evening before DLD, on the way to Davos.
Investors, corporate leaders and founders around the same table at the start of the year's busiest week. A dinner on where capital and technology are heading in 2027. Built to bridge Korea, Japan, the US and Europe.

The conversation
Every January, much of the technology and investment world passes through Munich on the way to the Alps.
We use the evening before DLD Munich opens to sit down properly: drinks, a short fireside chat at dinner, then chaired conversations at each table. Bring a question from your work and hear how others are approaching it.
We want this dinner to bridge Korea, Japan, the US and Europe. Seira Yun, the host, works between Europe and Asia, so cross-border questions come up at every table: Japanese and Korean corporates as customers and partners, capital moving between US, European and Asian investors, and who builds where in 2027.
Part of the Tech for Impact series, ahead of Tech for Impact Summit in Tokyo (May 2027), the flagship, and Tech for Impact Europe in Munich (September 2027).
Participation is by invitation. Seat requests are reviewed individually.
“I know what makes such a gathering work, and Tech for Impact has it.”
For almost 25 years I have brought researchers, founders and investors together in Munich. It is by invitation only, its guest list curated by hand: founders, corporate leaders, family offices, investors and policymakers, from Japan, Europe and other regions, all senior decision makers. It cuts across industries, so energy, mobility, finance and manufacturing sit at the same table. It puts technology and impact on one agenda, with the people who can act on both in the room. Its Tokyo roots bring a Japanese corporate network into that room. It is built for collaboration: little time listening to a stage, much more working out what to do together, so people leave with a partner and a next step. The record shows it works: past gatherings have led to partnerships, corporate-startup collaborations and investment deals. In format and spirit it is truly creative and unique. I am glad to support Seira Yun in building it.
