About the Summit
2027 Theme

One Planet, Built Across Borders.

The technologies that matter most to the planet (clean energy, climate deep tech, AI) cannot be deployed by any one country. Europe holds much of the climate deep tech. Japan's GX program, more than ¥150 trillion of public and private decarbonization investment over ten years, holds the corporate demand. The capital, policy and culture that connect them sit in different rooms.

One Planet names the stake we share. Built Across Borders names the work. Building together across geographies and sectors is the summit's method, not just its message.

Tech for Impact Summit is an invitation-only gathering co-hosted by the United Nations University and held at its headquarters in Tokyo, immediately before SusHi Tech Tokyo. Over two days, C-suite leaders, institutional investors, and senior policymakers convene around private Strategy Dialogues under Chatham House rules and a VIP dinner — forging the alliances and commitments that turn conversation into action.

Held at the United Nations University, Tokyo.

What Attendees Are Saying

“After exhibiting at Tech for Impact Summit, we secured a PoC with a major corporation. Beyond that, we've built director- and executive-level partnerships with multiple large enterprises, leading to real business creation. I'm amazed at how many valuable connections and opportunities emerged from a single day.”

“Joining the Tech for Impact Summit mentorship program last year was a turning point. Conversations with peers helped shape my idea, which has now become my recently incorporated company, KimPax Inc. I'm excited to keep the momentum going this year.”

“Last year's event was one of the best, most content-driven I've ever attended. I rarely sit through that many keynotes, but I gained so much from them—thank you! The event even helped shape the sustainability tool I'm building today. I'm really looking forward to joining again this year.”

“I originally planned to listen to only a few sessions and then head home, but before I knew it, I had stayed until the very end. The sessions went far beyond technology, expanding into philosophy, social issues, and meaningful human dialogue. I was deeply moved and left with a great deal of inspiration. That experience stayed with me, and the following year I returned as a staff member.”
