A one-day conference in Munich, then a private evening in an Oktoberfest tent. Founders, investors, corporate leaders and policymakers in one room, on the technology Europe needs to build.
Tech for Impact holds its flagship summit in Tokyo every May. In September 2026 it filled an Oktoberfest tent in Munich with investors, founders and operators for Tech for Climate. In 2027 the Munich day becomes a full edition of its own.
The day has two parts. A conference, with fireside chats, panels and Strategy Dialogues at round tables. Then a private evening in a reserved tent on the Wiesn, by invitation.
It falls in Oktoberfest week, the day after Bits & Pretzels, so people who are already in Munich can stay one more day.

The conference
Fireside chats and panels on the main stage, then Strategy Dialogues at round tables. Each table has a chair and one question. The tables run under the Chatham House Rule, so nothing is attributed and there is no readout. The venue is announced with the programme.
The tent
A reserved Oktoberfest tent on the Theresienwiese. Private, by invitation from the host. No stage, no slides. The people who spent the day on the tables and the panels, at one long table.
Four kinds of people
- Founders building climate and deep tech in Europe and Asia.
- Investors: family offices, private investors, funds of funds and corporate investors.
- Operators and corporate leaders from energy, industry, mobility and infrastructure.
- Public sector: city, state and federal, and the Japanese and Korean institutions that work with them.
Join the programme
Partners join the programme. A fireside interview with the host, a seat on a panel, or chairing a Strategy Dialogue on a topic they care about, plus seats at the tent in the evening. There is no pitch slot.
