Thomas Röhrl is Co-Founder and Managing Director of OnePurpose Capital, a Munich firm working where capital, industry and policy meet in Europe's battery value chains, new materials and energy security. As Senior Fellow for Batteries at Loom, he leads its European battery programme and its work on EU industrial policy, and much of his time goes into the practical bridge between Europe's battery midstream and its Japanese and Korean counterparts — what it takes for a European technology to be adopted in Asia, and for an Asian supplier to build in Europe. He also serves on the Board of the Asset Owner Intelligence Foundation, which convenes pension funds, foundations and family offices on long-term allocation to the transition.
