Reinaldo Tonkoski

Reinaldo Tonkoski is Professor and Chair of Electric Power Transmission and Distribution at the Technical University of Munich. He works with grid operators and industry on the bottleneck most electrification projects hit sooner or later: getting large new loads such as electrolyzers, data centers and electrified process heat connected to the network, at the scale and speed companies need, without compromising reliability. His international career spans Brazil, Canada and more than a decade building research programs in the United States before moving to Munich.
