Reiji Yamanaka

Reiji Yamanaka is Managing Director of the KIBOW Social Impact Investment Fund, which he founded to support social-purpose startups in Japan. As Associate Professor at GLOBIS University's Graduate School of Management, he teaches MBA courses on entrepreneurship and social innovation. Reiji's career spans entrepreneurship, venture capital, and business development. He began at Canon, later joining GLOBIS Capital Partners as a venture capitalist, and gained hands-on experience at two healthcare startups. In the social sector, he serves as a board director at STORIA, a nonprofit supporting children in Sendai. He holds a BA in Economics from Hitotsubashi University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
