Katja Ruhnke

Katja Ruhnke is an entrepreneur, investor, and author. After a decade in the cultural sector, she co-founded CK Venture Capital GmbH in 2019 with her sister, focusing on investments in impact-driven startups. Their portfolio now includes 21 companies. In 2021, she published her book “Female Money – How Women Investors Are Transforming the Startup World.” In early 2023, she opened CK Workspace, a shared office space with an integrated incubator. In recognition of her work, she was named Business Angel of the Year in 2023 by the Business Angels Network Germany (BAND). Since April 2025, she has served as Chairwoman of BAND, advocating for improved early-stage funding conditions and greater diversity in the startup ecosystem
