Johannes Pulsfort

Dr. Johannes Pulsfort is an independent carbon finance and carbon removal advisor based in Vienna. He structured the world's first carbon-backed loan with ABN AMRO, presented at COP28, and co-initiated the Austrian Buyers Club for CO2, which bundles corporate demand for carbon removal in Austria. He holds a doctorate from WU Vienna, teaches macroeconomics, and works with family offices, banks and corporates on carbon credit purchasing, project finance and EU carbon regulation.
