Yuki currently serves as the Managing Director of Techstars Japan, where he leads one of the world's most active startup accelerator programs. A serial entrepreneur and seasoned investor, he co-founded 3 venture-backed startups and has advised over 20 companies from pre-seed through Series B stages. As an active angel investor, Yuki has backed more than 50 startups, including several unicorns.
With dual expertise in law and business, Yuki is a qualified New York attorney and registered foreign attorney in Japan (Ministry of Justice). Over five years at top-tier global law firms across New York, Toronto, Abu Dhabi / Dubai and Singapore and another five years in Tokyo, he represented Fortune 500 companies, private equity funds, and venture capital firms in transactions exceeding $100 billion in value, specializing in M&As, funds and complex corporate transactions.

Yuki is also the founder of an international angel network called Yakumi that connects dozens of investors across Japan, the US, Europe, and Asia. His diverse career also includes strategic roles as a management consultant at Bain & Company and as a trade negotiator at Keidanren, Japan's premier business federation.

He holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto, a M.B.A. from the University of British Columbia and Duke University and a B.A. from the University of Tokyo.

法務と経営の両分野に精通し、ニューヨーク州弁護士資格および日本法務省認定の外国法事務弁護士資格を保有。ニューヨーク、トロント、アブダビ／ドバイ、シンガポールで5年間、東京でさらに5年間、世界トップクラスの法律事務所にて勤務。フォーチュン500企業、プライベート・エクイティ・ファンド、ベンチャーキャピタルをクライアントに、総額1,000億ドルを超えるM&A、ファンド、複雑な企業取引に携わった。

また、日米欧アジアの投資家をつなぐ国際的エンジェル投資ネットワーク「Yakumi」を創設。その他、Bain & Companyでの戦略コンサルタント、経団連での通商交渉担当など、多様なキャリアを持つ。

東京大学文学部卒業後、トロント大学ロースクールにてJ.D.取得。ブリティッシュコロンビア大学およびデューク大学にてMBAを取得。
