Graduated from the Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo. Joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in 2004, where responsibilities included promoting cashless payments, managing the Go To campaign, and contributing to the launch of the Digital Agency. Served as Deputy Director of JETRO Los Angeles before assuming the current role. Experienced in a wide range of industrial policies, including startup support, international collaboration, and public-private digital transformation (DX).

内閣官房／内閣府　科学技術・イノベーション推進参事官。東京大学法学部卒。2004年経済産業省入省後、キャッシュレス推進、Go Toキャンペーン事業、デジタル庁立ち上げにおいて企画・運営を担当。JETROロサンゼルス次長などを経て現職。スタートアップ支援や国際連携を含む産業政策、官民DX推進など幅広く行政実務に携わる。
