After joining United as a new graduate, Satoshi Obata gained consulting experience in new business planning, business strategy formulation, and DX promotion for other companies. During this period, he was also involved in new graduate recruitment projects. In July 2022, he participated in the M&A review and execution for Innoop Inc. (now a group company of our company). Subsequently, he was seconded to that company as a Business Division Manager, where he was involved in PMI activities including sales oversight, business planning, and CS launch.

Since October 2023, Obata has been engaged in investment activities. He has executed investments across diverse sectors including HR, vertical SaaS, robotics, space, and marketplaces. He was appointed as Team Manager of the Capitalist Team within the Investment Division in 2025.

ユナイテッドに新卒入社した後、他社の新規事業立案や事業戦略策定、DX推進などのコンサルティングを経験。同時期に新卒採用PJTにも携わる。2022年7月にイノープ株式会社（現当社グループ会社）のM&A検討及び実行、その後、同社へ出向し事業部長として営業統括・事業企画・CS立上げなどPMIに携わる。2023年10月より投資事業に従事。HR、バーティカルSaaS、ロボティクス、宇宙、マーケットプレイス等幅広い領域で投資を実行。2025年より投資事業本部キャピタリストチームマネージャーに就任。
