Kohei Yamamoto is managing partner at X&KSK, a Japan-focused venture capital firm led by former Japanese national football player Keisuke Honda. Before joining X&KSK, Yamamoto worked in the Group CEO Office at Rakuten, collaborating closely with Founder and CEO Hiroshi Mikitani. He played a pivotal role in Rakuten Capital's global investments, the launch of new ventures, and the development of a global data platform to drive international business expansion. Earlier in his career, Yamamoto completed General Electric's prestigious financial leadership program and holds a degree from Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo.
