Ken Asada is a partner and Japan Head in Salesforce Ventures’ Tokyo office where he focuses on investments in Japan and Korea. Ken has been in the venture capital business for more than a decade and has backed various tech startups in fields such as AI, communication technology, crowdsourcing, enterprise software, and security.

Prior to Salesforce Ventures, Ken was a Managing Director of NTT DoCoMo Ventures and an Investment Director of Intel Capital. Earlier in his career, Ken was a Systems Engineer and Strategy Consultant at IBM Japan. Ken holds an MBA from London Business School with a finance concentration and a Bachelor of Economics from Keio University.

日本IBMにてシステムズ・エンジニアとしてキャリアをスタートし、IBMビジネスコンサルティングサービスの戦略コンサルティング部門で事業戦略コンサルティングに従事。その後、2011年からインテルキャピタルにて日本市場のベンチャー投資を担当。2019年にNTTドコモ・ベンチャーズに参画し、Managing Directorに就任。2020年からSalesforce Venturesの日本代表パートナーとして日本、韓国および台湾市場でのベンチャー投資を担当。
