At the Gates Foundation, she leads advocacy efforts in Japan on global health and gender equality. Before joining the foundation, she worked in Goldman Sachs Securities' Investment Banking Division, handling M&A advisory and equity/debt offerings. She earned bachelor's degrees from Waseda University and the National University of Singapore, and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
