Graduated from the Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo. Joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in 2004, where responsibilities included promoting cashless payments, managing the Go To campaign, and contributing to the launch of the Digital Agency. Served as Deputy Director of JETRO Los Angeles before assuming the current role. Experienced in a wide range of industrial policies, including startup support, international collaboration, and public-private digital transformation (DX).
