Joined KDDI in 2006. Since 2012, engaged in collaboration with startups, covering areas such as gaming, sports, entertainment, XR, and projects including Virtual Shibuya. Appointed Head of BI Promotion Department in 2022 and Head of Web3 Promotion Department in 2023, overseeing the KDDI Open Innovation Fund, KDDI ∞ Labo, and Web3/metaverse businesses. Assumed the current role in 2025, responsible for open innovation initiatives and new business development.
