Seira Yun founded and convenes the Tech for Impact Summit, an invitation-only executive gathering in Tokyo now co-hosted with the United Nations University. Its stage has featured Audrey Tang, Taro Kono, Takuya Hirai, Kathy Matsui and Charles Hoskinson.
He is also the Founder and CEO of Socious, which builds tools for AI-powered sustainability reporting, impact-driven hiring and tamper-proof impact credentials, and an impact angel investor. Socious is his second company. He exited his first social business in 2021, after years in humanitarian management at the International Committee of the Red Cross and UNHCR.
He founded the Impactism Foundation, which advances one idea: making impact, not money, the measure of a life. As an angel he backs early founders in climate, the energy transition and frontier science. He mentors climate founders at 4WARD.VC in Zürich.
Seira holds a Master's in Social Innovation from the University of Cambridge. His work has been featured in Nikkei and The Japan Times.
