Graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Business and Commerce. Joined the Bank of Japan in 2003. From 2012, studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), earning a Master’s degree in Local Economic Development with a focus on social business and microfinance. Subsequently worked at BRAC, a leading microfinance institution in Bangladesh, followed by roles at a Japanese foundation and Japanese IT company in Bangladesh, where the potential of fintech was recognized.
In 2019, founded BEE Informatica in Malaysia to provide microfinance services for small businesses, and established its Japan subsidiary the following year. Obtained a digital money lending license in 2025. As of August 2025, the company’s outstanding balance reached 179 local enterprises with cumulative lending of 136 million yen. Alumna of APT Women (Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s accelerator program for female entrepreneurs, 8th cohort). Third prize recipient in the Financial Innovation category of the Tokyo Financial Award 2022.
