Alex is co-founder and CEO of Clerio Vision, a developer of laser-based vision correction products for the contact lens and refractive surgery industries.  He also serves as Chairman of Turbett Surgical, a manufacturer of sterilization devices for operating rooms. Alex’s other roles have included stints as Executive Vice President at ERT, where he oversaw the global cardiac safety services business, and as a senior corporate lawyer at United Technologies Corporation.  Earlier in his career, Alex spent three years as a criminal prosecutor in New York City.

Alex serves on multiple startup and non-profit boards.  He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, a law degree from American University, and graduate degrees from the University of Oxford and from the University of Cambridge.
